Kenny Ingram is a Musical Theatre Veteran. He is currently in Disney “The Lion King” on Broadway as a Singer/ Swing and covers the roles of Banzai and Ed. He also covers the South African Men specialty singing solo’s.
Mr. Ingram is currently working on “Detour”. A one man show with original music composed by the talented Peter Candela. “Detour” takes a look at a man’s journey from childhood to adult life and the different Detours he is challenged with.
Kenny has won a Jeff Award and Black Theater Alliance Award for his Choreographer. He belongs to the Stage Directors/ Choreographer Union and has assisted Susan Stroman with the Showboat tour setting the Black Ensemble for the tour.
Kenny has taught numerous Dance Classes, Musical Theater Workshops, and Choreographed shows for young talent through the Goodman Theater Outreach Program which reaches out to young youths on the south side of Chicago. He worked with Musical Theater Workshop a company that focused teens on performing that had disciplinary problems.
