Triple Threat Broadway Actor James T. Lane wrote and stars in his one man play that moves. With direction and choreography staged by Mr. Ingram. Which played Off Broadway at Theatre Row and was honored to gain 5 Audelco Nominations. Kenny was Nominated for Best Direction and Mr. Lane Won an Audelco Award for Best Solo Performer .

A Broaderway - Idina Menzel mentors a female teen program for singer/songwriters that Kenny had the opportunity to Direct their original songs that were sung by Broadway Performers. The evening was staged in Harlem’s legendary Black National Theatre. He is also an active board member.
Chicago Shakes wanted to start Summer Musicals. Kenny had the opportunity to pioneer bringing Musicals to Chicago’s Navy Pier in 2000. Kenny directed and choreographed Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Marriott Lincolnshire theatre in Chicago and because of its success it moved to Chicago Shakes that Summer at Navy Pier.
Kenny Also Served as the Assistant Residential Director for Hal Prince’s Showboat at The Chicago Auditorium Theatre in 1996 and was in charge of staging the Black Ensemble for the tour for Susan Stroman. He was instrumental on staging the Broadway Company for the tour after the show closed on Broadway at The Gershwin Theatre
Kenny’s version of Five Guys Names Moe was a tour that he directed and choreographed at Mill Mountain Theatre in Roanoke, Virginia. It was then moved to Charlotte Rep. Then Flatrock Playhouse. The upbeat version still to this day is one of his favorites.
Kenny’s Zoom Musical “The Moment” received a Diploma Award from the White Nights Film Festival in Russia!
